August 3rd (Running Weekly) - Shift

Perth’s latest weekly experiment, Shift flips the concept of clubbing on its head with a deep underground atmosphere & phoneless venue. Changing the way we interact & party, catch Shift’s bassy vibes every Saturday in the depths of Gilkison’s, 45 Murray St.

August 3rd (Running Weekly) - Death Disco

Our city’s longest-standing club night, DD guarantees big crowds, cheap drinks, good vibes and pure EDM on a weekly basis at its home of Capitol/Amps.

August 3rd - Syndicate ft. Badklaat & Aweminus

Consistently consistent, Syndicate never fail to disappoint. Riddim don Aweminus supporting Perth fav Badklaat will have Villa packed to the roof for what’ll be nothing short of monstrous. Already sold out - you’ll need to hunt to find your way into this one.

August 9th - Inhibit ft. Kanine

An intimate venue with acoustics to boot, Kanine’s bound to have the underground Sewing Room shaking with his lavish style of UK bass. If you’re in the mood for a rinse, look no further.

August 17th - Bag Raiders @Slims

Yes, they’ll probably play ‘Shooting Stars’, and yes, people will definitely pay $35 just to see it. Slims, house music, memes - need I say more?

August 17th - Lucid & Death Disco ft. Peekaboo & Oski

Lucid & DD linking up for some serious bass, Peekaboo’s debut Perth show is bound to pop off. Experimental synths, wiggy alien noises & Oski’s heavy trap - it’ll be one for the books. $20 on the door.

August 17th - Origin ft. Shockone

Perth’s favourite DnB allstar, a warehouse & two international supports - I’m sweating just thinking about it. A new LP to boot, Dirty Audio & Bear Grillz backing him up - this might just be Shockone’s biggest show yet.

August 24th - Inhibit ft. S.P.Y

Drum & Bass - Villa - Inhibit - a Brazilian international - I don’t think there’s anything more that needs to be said. Get in while tickets are still cheap!

August 24th - Club Humble ft. Blanke

One of Perth’s most popular weekly nights, Club Humble dipping into some bass is bound to turn heads. Free entry, cheap drinks and one of Australia’s fastest rising stars - it’s a perfect combo.

August 24th & 25th - YOUR SHOT ft. Gladez, Oriental Cravings, Avance

With over 50 local DJ’s competing, odds are you know someone in the ‘YOUR SHOT’ competition. Running over two days @Court with some big trap artists sprinkled on top - head down & show some support for all the locals playing YouTube-to-MP3 pirated tracks. Bound to be a laugh - $10 hardcopies.

August 30th - Hiline ft. DJ Q

Another for the jumpup fans out there, Geisha’s attic will be a sweatbox by the time DJ Q is done with his dirty basslines. Limited tickets, get on it quick.

August 31st - Filth ft. Kleavr x Tantrum & Flick

Bigger every month, Filth take no prisoners. Another daytime Court party, Up-n-coming stars ‘The Serpents’ are bound to chop shit up. Synths, subs, chops & double drops - Filth isn’t for the faint hearted.

August 31st - Disciple party ft. Barely Alive, Dodge & Fuski, Bandlez

The ultimate Filth kickons, an unknown host - *cough* Syndicate *cough* - have a deadly triple dubstep threat lined up for a massive end-of-month show. Three top-tier artists for Perth’s most popular dubstep event - book the next day off work.

August 31st - Riddim ft. TC & Simula

Closing off the month against admittingly big competition, RIddim have the dark vibes set for DnB-Jumpup masters TC & Simula. Whether you’re rinsing in the carpark or weaving through the dark interior - the Gilks experience is never one to shy away from.
