udimental is a name often associated with some of EDM's biggest household songs, and their arsenal is full of tracks that can't help but make you move. ‘Waiting All Night’, ‘Feel the Love’ - they've got enough tunes to rock any party, and their live performance is something that no one should overlook.

A few members of the PinkMilk team were fortunate enough to spend their NYE bopping away to the funky group at a live show in Dubai, and couldn’t help but feel that the world needed to know just how good they really are.

With a live show coming up in Perth before too long, we thought it a perfect time to give you an insight about what you can expect when Rudimental come prepared to blow the roof off Metro City.

Let the hype begin.

‘Rudimental – the quiet achievers who’ve taken the music industry by storm. Whether you’re a mad fan or could bare to give them a miss, we promise you – you won’t regret paying the money to see their gig. Trust, they’re worth the watch.

A group that doesn’t come up on the radar as often as most, I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t just going with the flow this NYE when I bought a ticket to their headline event. In all honesty I probably wouldn’t have gone had it been any other day, but boy, I’m so glad I did.

I started collating a playlist of all their songs leading up to the event, and I was so wrong to think that they’d only had a few bangers come out in the last few years. There's a playlist with some of their biggest and best songs at the bottom of this article - give them a listen and you'll definitely understand why I started getting so pumped to go.

Despite being limited to a DJ set, they brought so much energy to their performance. Just when you thought it couldn’t get more intense than it already was, someone whipped out a fucking trumpet?!? Every song that included a trumpet was from then on completely enhanced by live solo after live solo. Amazing.

As soon as ‘Feel the Love’ came on the crowd understandably went nuts, and the addition of a live instrument to compliment the DJ set really added a whole extra layer of hype. The performing pair knew how to work the stage, and reading the crowd seemed like second nature to them as they selected banger after nostalgic banger all night.

On top of this they brought plenty of diversity to the table, and their set was so precise that they even managed to mix Australian house producer Fisher into one of their hits – The whole crowd understandably lost their heads.

So please, do yourself a favour, and make sure you don’t miss Rudimental next time they’re near you. Support an insanely talented act, for an insanely memorable night.'
