RL Grime + Goldlink together at last.

fter months of teasing, Australian touring agency BBE has finally announced tours for the Rap Lord and Trap Lord, Goldlink and RL Grime. Despite all the teasing, one thing that no one saw coming is the fact that the two giants will in fact be touring together.

That's right, in the unexpected tour announcement, BBE made it clear that both artists would be featured on one individual tour. So what does this mean? Well if anything, it guarantees some sold out shows, thats a certainty. Both RL and Goldlink have done extremely successful Australian shows in the last year, with Goldlink selling out every single city he performed in, and RL coming very close.

Down here in Perth, Goldlink sold out the 1200 capacity Villa Nightclub, while RL Grime was interestingly placed in HBF Arena, totalling up a show of around 3000. The two artists touring together will call for some big venues, and most likely some expensive tickets, but seeing two of the biggest artists in their respectful genres, all in one show, has gotta be worth a shout.

No dates have been guaranteed just yet, but we've been told the tour will be taking place between the 2nd and 11th of November, so you've got plenty of time to save up and clear the date.

The announcement lines up nicely with RL Grimes album release, set to drop in three days. 'Nova' has been hyped up for so long, with RL claiming to have completed it a few months ago now, keeping all of his fans on edge. It's surely to be full of big collabs and heavy bass drops, and is easily one of my most anticipated albums of the year.

Having seen the big man last year, everything from his stage setup to his visuals are absolutely mind blowing, and I can't stress enough how amazing his show was. As for Goldlink, his music isn't particularly my style, but from all I heard earlier in the year, his show is bound to be full of energy and high intensity. Personally, I can't wait to see how to two fit together, and I advise that you don't sleep on tickets, they won't be lasting long.
