an, American music festivals are seriously just on a whole different level. Maybe that’s just the resentful Australian part of me talking, but I can’t help but die inside a little every time I see the sheer quantity of talent US organisers routinely manage to book.

Coachella, Ultra, Lolla, EDC, Lost Lands, the list goes on. I love Australia’s festival scene, but next to that of the States, it’s like comparing a four year olds crayon drawing to Banksy.

Yeah look I’m not trying to bash Aussie festivals, but when your 20th anniversary gig is literally just a mashup of every lineup we had in 2019, it’s hard to get too excited.

But moving on, believe it or not I’m not here to start a shitstorm by underselling Aussie festivals, I’m here for one reason, and one reason only. Electric Daisy Carnival 2020 baby.

Released earlier by Insomniac Events founder Pasquale Rotella, the 10th edition of EDC Las Vegas is full to the brim of absolute madness. An other-worldly experience gathering punters from around the globe, this year is bound to be nothing short of phenomenal. Let’s hope it's as eventful as the last one!
